Jim Leach, LC – Unhappy Golfing

Now working in association with Jim Leach, LC Rob is a dedicated civil litigation attorney and Partner at J Leach Law, PLLC, where he brings a robust commitment to excellence and justice for his clients. A proud alumnus of the West Virginia University College of Law, Rob honed his legal skills in the demanding environment of WVU’s rigorous academic curriculum and vibrant clinical programs all-the-while working full-time and maintaining a family life at home.

Rob has chosen the legal field as a second career. Prior to entering the practice of law, he spent 12 years as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is a graduate of Marietta College where he majored in Exercise Science and was a 3 year letterman and team captain for the football team. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus, graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2012. In 2014, he opened his own chiropractic office, which he owned and operated, even while attending law school full-time, until he chose to exclusively practice law in 2023.
Rob’s path to a career in law began in 2019 when he decided it was time for a change and enrolled at West Virginia University College of Law.

After earning his J.D. in 2022, he joined the firm and quickly distinguished himself as a tenacious litigator and a compassionate advocate for those navigating the complexities of legal disputes. In his practice, Rob focuses on a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters, embodying the firm’s commitment to serving the legal needs of individuals and businesses alike, though, with his background, his passion remains medical malpractice and personal injury cases. His approach to law is marked by meticulous preparation, strategic thinking, and an unwavering dedication to securing the best outcome for his clients. Whether he’s representing plaintiffs or defendants, Rob’s expertise spans across contract disputes, negligence cases, violation of civil rights, and a diverse array of other civil and business controversies. His adept ability to analyze cases from multiple perspectives allows him to anticipate opposing arguments and effectively counter them. He is able to utilize his superior organizational skills to navigate each case, ensuring never to miss a deadline nor require a continuance from the court and reach an outcome that is best for his clients in the most efficient manner possible.

Outside of the courtroom, Rob stays busy with his wife and two children. He spends most nights and weekends coaching his daughter in volleyball or softball or his son’s basketball team. On the rare occasion that he does have free time, you will find him at the gym exercising, golfing, or hunting.
